2023 year Rewind :)

Thanks for the 2023!

Hello Typescript Daily readers!

Happy New Year to all of you!

Firstly, thanks for a great 2023. It’s been a wonderful journey with all of you.

This edition is going to be different than the rest of the editions you have read! For this edition, I’ve planned to focus on how we have done as a newsletter medium this entire year.

Stats for Typescript Daily

I started this newsletter on August 13th, 2023 using Beehiiv as the newsletter medium. This is the first ever post 😃 and below are some of the transparent stats for you to take a look at.

Beehiiv stats:

We have a total of 141 posts (including this one). This is one post for every day from August 13th till date. Our consistency score is 100% 😀

Outside of Beehiiv, this is how the traction looked like:

Reddit:

This post received close to 100 upvotes. If you are familiar with Reddit, you know how hard that can be :)

Linkedin:

This post has been relatively more engaging than the other ones.

I haven’t spent much time focusing on Instagram, Twitter, and Threads. The growth here has been relatively lesser.

Self Promotion

Lately, I've been working on an idea based on AI combining it with a real customer problem. This idea focuses mainly on small startups where dealing with customer support can be a mess. One, they can’t afford too much money on human support; Two, dealing with support tickets would slow down their growth traction which is what they will be looking at in the initial days. This app would automate most of the straightforward customer queries with their data source and AI combination. You can visit the landing page here to learn more about it.

Also, please support my ProductHunt launch that is happening tomorrow.

Feedback and how can we improve!

Across this year, I’ve changed the format of the newsletter a few times to see what works best.

Please use this link to provide your valuable feedback and suggestions! I promise it only takes about 45 seconds.

I wish you a very happy and prosperous New year 2024!

Thanks,

Arunkumar Srisailapathi on behalf of Typescript Daily.
